How is this different from appointment scheduling?
Appointment scheduling assumes the customer is present and the service runs in one block. Drop-off scheduling separates active work (staff hands on) from processing time (hands-free), so shorter jobs can fill the gaps inside longer ones. The same calendar handles both modes.
Can I run both appointment and drop-off services in the same business?
Yes. Configure each service as appointment-mode or drop-off-mode. The calendar respects both — a haircut runs as a block, a full groom runs with active and processing windows. Online booking shows the right options for each service.
What's a drop-off window?
The time range during which customers can drop the item off. Could be a 30-minute slot, a half-day (e.g. 8am–noon), or full-day (8am–4pm). Each service has its own window.
How does the customer know when it's ready?
