Seglo

A nail clip shouldn’t wait
behind a full groom.

Built for pet grooming, auto repair, alterations and any service where the customer drops off, you do the work, and they come back later. Active time, processing time, queue-aware slot filling and pickup notifications — all in the calendar.

30–40% more jobs per day

Queue-aware scheduling fills the processing gaps that fixed-block calendars leave empty. The same staff, the same hours — more revenue.

Appointment mode

Customer arrives, gets serviced, leaves. The classic model for salons, clinics, studios. One block of time, one staff member, customer present throughout.

  • Single block on the calendar
  • Customer present the whole time
  • Buffer time before / after

Drop-off mode

Customer drops off, you work, customer picks up. Built for groomers, repair shops, alterations — work happens in waves, with staff free during processing windows.

  • Active vs processing time split
  • Drop-off window + pickup-ready estimate
  • Shorter jobs fill processing gaps

How drop-off scheduling actually works

Drop-off windows

Configure when customers can drop off — just-in-time, half-day, or full-day windows per service. The booking page only shows what fits.

Active vs processing time

Each service splits into hands-on active time and hands-free processing time. Staff are only blocked during active windows.

Queue-aware scheduling

Shorter jobs slot into the processing gaps of longer ones. A 15-minute nail clip doesn't wait behind a 90-minute full groom.

Concurrent processing limits

Set how many jobs each staff member can have in flight at once. Capacity respects skill, equipment and floor space.

Ready-time estimates

Customers get a real ready-time based on the actual schedule — not a fixed “later today” guess. Updates if the day shifts.

Pickup notifications

Ready-for-pickup SMS sent the moment the job is done. Running-late and on-your-way updates included.

Frequently asked

Who is drop-off scheduling for?

Any service where the customer isn't present during the work — pet groomers, auto detailers, mechanics, alterations, repair shops, valet services. If you take items in and return them later, this is for you.

How is this different from appointment scheduling?

Appointment scheduling assumes the customer is present and the service runs in one block. Drop-off scheduling separates active work (staff hands on) from processing time (hands-free), so shorter jobs can fill the gaps inside longer ones. The same calendar handles both modes.

Can I run both appointment and drop-off services in the same business?

Yes. Configure each service as appointment-mode or drop-off-mode. The calendar respects both — a haircut runs as a block, a full groom runs with active and processing windows. Online booking shows the right options for each service.

What's a drop-off window?

The time range during which customers can drop the item off. Could be a 30-minute slot, a half-day (e.g. 8am–noon), or full-day (8am–4pm). Each service has its own window.

How does the customer know when it's ready?

Seglo sends an automated SMS the moment the staff marks the job complete. Customers also get an estimated ready-time at drop-off and an update if the schedule shifts.

Does drop-off mode work with multiple staff?

Yes. Each staff member has their own concurrent-processing limit. Conflict detection runs across the whole team. Jobs get assigned to the right person based on skill and availability.

Run a tighter drop-off day.

The same staff. The same hours. 30–40% more jobs because the gaps get filled.
