Seglo Phone

The number
stops belonging
to one handset.

Same number on the shopfront.
It now rings on every device your team already carries, and the conversation stays with the business afterwards.

$79 a month

Two devices included, $29 each after, five in total

01 / Who it rings

Whoever has a dry hand.

One call rings every signed-in device at once. The first person to answer takes it and the rest stop ringing. Nobody walks a cordless handset across the salon, and nobody has to be the person who owns the phone.

Whoever picks up sees who is calling before they speak, so the conversation starts at the dog rather than at “what was the name again”.

Two devices come with the plan and you can go to five. One person using a phone and a tablet is using two of them.

02 / Where it stops

Your groomers keep
their own number.

This is the part staff ask about first, so it is worth saying plainly. Nothing your team sends goes out under their personal number. Clients see the salon, reply to the salon, and never end up with a groomer’s mobile saved in their phone.

A device only rings while that person is signed in and still on your team, and that is worked out fresh on every single call. Take someone off the team and the very next call skips them. There is no password to change and nothing to collect on their last day.

The history is the salon’s. When somebody leaves, the calls, the messages and the photos stay behind on the client’s record, where the next person who takes that dog can read them.

03 / When nobody can

Some days
every hand is wet.

Seglo’s receptionist can take the call instead. It knows your services, your prices and your opening hours, it books into the same diary your team works from, and it tells the caller at the start that it is an assistant. Anything it should not be deciding comes to a person.

A call nobody reached still lands in front of the whole team afterwards, with the number and the time, rather than sitting in one person’s missed-call list.

The receptionist is a separate subscription, $149 a month plus 40 cents a minute of talking. It is not part of the $79.

04 / Keeping your number

You are not betting the number.

It is on your shopfront, your car and four years of reviews. So here is exactly how it moves, and exactly how it comes back.

Before

You tell us the number and who it is with.

We check it can move before anyone is charged.

During

Your existing phone service keeps working.

Do not cancel it. That is the one way a number is lost.

Cutover

The number switches to Seglo.

Typically three to ten business days from submission.

If you leave

The number goes with you.

Start the transfer out within thirty days of closing the account.

The $149 is refundable in full right up until we lodge the transfer with the carrier. Cancel in the first ten business days after you go live and the month comes back too.

We cannot promise a date, because your current provider can delay a transfer and nobody in Australia can override that. What we can promise is that your old service stays connected until the moment the number switches, so there is never a window where your clients cannot reach you.

05 / What it does not do

The list nobody
else prints.

  • Human calls are not recorded or transcribed. Voicemail is.
  • Video messaging is not supported. Photographs are.
  • Five devices in total, two included. A phone and a tablet is two devices.
  • One business number per business. Second locations are a conversation, not a checkbox.
  • Facebook and Instagram messages do not arrive here. Calls and texts do.

What it costs. $149 once to set up, then $79 a month including two devices. Each device after that is $29 a month, up to five. Prices include GST. Month to month, exit cost nothing, so the least you can spend is $228: the $149 setup plus one month at $79.

Emergency calls (000, 112, 106). 000 and 112 work from Seglo Phone, and they need power and a working internet connection. In an outage, use a mobile or a fixed line. Emergency services see the service address you have registered, not where the person calling is standing. Always keep another way to reach emergency services.

Conversation, not campaigns. Your number is for talking to your own clients. Bulk marketing goes out on the platform messaging channel instead, and a number that starts behaving like a broadcast is throttled. That is what keeps it deliverable.

Keep the number. Change what happens when it rings.

Take 14 days to settle in. Decide later.
