Recurring visits, rebuilt: one rhythm per customer, every pet in one visit

Set a regular client's rhythm once, every 2, 4 or 6 weeks, and Seglo books all their pets as one visit. Plus rebuilt Payments settings and a new dashboard.

Recurring visits

Set a client's rhythm at pickup, in one tap

On the screen where you take payment, a regular client with no rhythm yet shows a row of choices: every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, every 6 weeks. Tap one and it is set.

Their second dog carries its own service history, so ticking it recalculates the total time as you go. A pet with no history is held back until you pick its service. Copying the other dog's service would get both the price and the duration wrong, and then repeat that mistake on every visit.

Client detail is where a rhythm lives

No new page and no new menu item. A client's detail page shows the rhythm, or a single Set up recurring line when there isn't one. A client who already has one sees a status line and nothing to dismiss.

Your customers can skip, pause and move a visit themselves

On My Bookings a customer gets one card: skip the next visit, pause, resume, change how often, change the time, or stop altogether. Changing the time uses the same slot picker as a normal booking, with their pets and services already chosen.

A visit that can't be booked lands on the Requests page

This is the part that used to disappear. A recurring visit that hit a full diary ended as an appointment created and then deleted, plus a log line nobody read.

Now every attempt leaves an outcome. Failures appear in a section above the table at Appointments → Requests: the customer, their pets, the rhythm, the time it was aiming for, and the reason in plain words.

The whole row is the button. Tap it and the slot picker opens; pick a time and the visit is booked. Two taps, no confirmation dialog. Skip is one tap with an undo. If the real problem is a pet with details missing, the row takes you to that pet's profile instead, because picking another time would not fix it.

The sidebar count includes these, and only for staff who can see them.

Recurring visits hold a real place in the diary

A generated visit occupies the slot the same way any booking does, so availability accounts for it and cancelling gives the time back. Generation stops at the end of your published roster: on a 14-day booking window, a fortnightly rhythm holds two visits, not six. Publish the roster further out to protect more of them.

Archiving a pet

Archive the last pet on a rhythm and a line appears in place, telling you visits are paused. No modal and no follow-up question. Visits already booked keep their time and their length, and the customer is never notified.

Payments settings

One payment provider at a time, and the page now says so

With Stripe connected, Tyro still offered Connect and Resume pairing. You could pair a terminal and only then be told Seglo could not save it.

The page is now three named sections: your payment provider, other providers, and Stripe fees. While one provider is live, every other row is inert — no actions, nothing to tap, no capability badges claiming something you can't do today. "Disconnect first" is said once, in the section, instead of on every row. Opening the Tyro page by its link doesn't get around it.

A half-finished Stripe setup counts as live and holds the slot. Disconnecting it still works.

The Tyro page and the fee table

Tyro settings is grouped into named sections, and the fee table uses the words you would use — card terminal, online payments — instead of a second vocabulary for the same two things. The heading says the fees are Stripe's. Cash has come out of that table, because cash has no fee.

Refunds that only ever had one answer

Refund details no longer appears beside a card-terminal, cash or gift-card refund. There is nothing behind it for those: the terminal receipt is the record. Opening it used to return a refusal, and before that an error page, while the money had in fact gone back. Both ends are fixed.

Reconciliation no longer matches a refund to a payment

A day with a $205 payment and a $205 refund could reconcile as fully matched. The day's figures didn't carry the transaction type, so the two read identically and the amount check paired the terminal's payment with Seglo's refund.

Payment and refund are now labelled on both sides and only ever match like for like. The same change un-breaks terminal refunds generally: they previously could never match at all and always fell into "terminal only".

Book Next

The carried booking reads as a list of services

Book Next used to run the profile name and every service into one line, then spill the whole booking's answers into a heap of chips underneath. It is now one line per service — the service, then who is doing it and how long — with that service's own answers beneath it. What the summary shows is what carries into the form. No prices: a new booking uses today's.

A service with questions keeps its real price and length

Change a carried service and it no longer drops back to the catalogue's base price and base duration. That was not only a display problem. The end time, and the booking that actually got saved, read the same two numbers, so a base duration was being booked. Carried answers are re-priced before you confirm.

Your dashboard

Four cards, one question each

Today: how many bookings, how many finished. Money today: collected, still to collect, average ticket. This week against last week. And most-booked services this week, a card that a threshold had been hiding almost permanently.

The stale-figures banner is gone

It warned you when figures were more than five hours old, but they refresh every four hours, so it was on nearly all the time and had become wallpaper. A small Updated X ago line sits in the page header instead.

The refresh button went with it. It re-read the same figures, so the time it showed never moved.

Schedule

Manage booking labels without leaving the schedule

The label picker inside a booking's drawer has a Manage labels entry on desktop, opening the same screen the settings page uses in a dialog over the schedule. Escape closes the dialog, not the booking behind it.

The team schedule's name column

Regular shift and Skills were two buttons competing with the name in a narrow column. They now sit in a menu next to it, with View profile.

Fixes

  • The homepage's hero texture no longer draws on phones. It is invisible at that size and was taking seconds to paint, holding up everything behind it.
  • The long-press voice note tip stops coming back. Whether you have seen it is remembered on your account rather than in the browser, so reopening the app doesn't show it again.

Get Started

Take a payment for a regular client and the rhythm choices are on that screen. After that, the client's detail page is where you change it.

If a recurring visit can't be placed, look at Appointments → Requests — the section above the table is new, and each row books in two taps.
