Seglo Phone settings in one place, call and message reports, and bring your own number
Seglo Phone gets one settings home with who rings each number, new Calls and Messages reports, a bring-your-number signup, and billing pages rebuilt from the ground up.
Seglo Phone is the centre of this release: one settings page for your numbers, devices and plan, two new reports, and a signup that lets a shop bring the mobile number it already has. Billing, cards, invoices and credits were rebuilt underneath, with a few changes you will notice.
Seglo Phone settings in one place
Numbers, Devices, Activity and Plan under Settings → Seglo Phone
The sidebar entry that used to say Numbers now says Phone settings and opens one page with four tabs. Numbers lists each of your numbers once. Devices is where every signed-in phone lives. Activity is the log. Plan shows once your number is live. Old links to the number manage page, including ones in earlier emails, land on the Numbers tab.
See who rings before the phone does
Each number now says "3 of 4 will ring". Open Show who rings and every person on that number is listed with why they would or would not answer: rings, muted this number, Do Not Disturb until 2pm, signed out, or not assigned to this location. A groomer with two phones shows the muted one on its own line.
Call handling moved next to the number
Ring order, ring duration, forwarding, after hours, the voicemail greeting and blocked clients are now set per location under Numbers → Call handling, and the number row updates the moment you save. Switching tab with unsaved edits asks first. Settings → Receptionist keeps only the AI: the on switch, voice and greeting, and actions. Shops without the AI Receptionist add-on can still see the AI options, locked.
Devices show what they are and whether they will ring
Each device row names the model (iPhone 16 Pro), its system and app version, Rings for calls or Won't ring with the reason, and when it was last active. Owners can rename a device so "Grooming room iPhone" means something at a glance.
An activity log for phones
Every sign-in and sign-out, muted number, Do Not Disturb change, and device approval, rename or removal is one plain sentence with the person and the phone, newest first, with a filter by person. The tab shows for people who manage devices.
Team: control which phones are signed in
Sign a member out of one device
Open a team member and Signed-in devices lists each phone and browser with the app, system version, when they signed in and last used it. Sign out ends that one device; a Seglo Phone app signs out within seconds and the person's other phones keep ringing. Sign out all devices does the same for everything at once, and turning a member's Phone App off signs their phone out too.
Removing a device ends it now
Remove a phone from Devices and it signs out within seconds, with a message on the phone saying the business removed it. If the phone is in a call, it finishes the call first. A removed phone that signs back in appears under Removed, then signed in again with an Allow again button, so nothing rings again without you.
Device seats you agreed to are the seats you get
A shop on a three-device agreement now shows "2 of 3 devices", and the third phone signs in without an approval step or an extra-device charge. The plan tab shows the same count and price.
Reports for calls and messages
Reports → Calls: the calls you missed and what happened next
Missed calls as a share of everything inbound, answered versus missed by day (by week past two months), a heatmap of the hours and weekdays calls go unanswered, and whether you texted the caller back within 24 hours or booked them within 7 days. Show details breaks it down by line and lists the callers you keep missing. The call statistics that used to sit under Settings → Seglo Phone now live here.
Reports → Messages: how fast you reply
The share of messages answered within an hour, reply times bucketed by day, the median reply time, the number left unanswered after 24 hours, and a per-day table. Both reports refresh hourly; the first hour after the release shows a "report is being prepared" note.
Reports follow what you use
A shop with only Seglo Phone sees Calls, Messages and Team in Reports, with hours and pay but no revenue columns. A Bookings-only shop sees the reports it always had. Shops with both get a Seglo Phone this month card on the dashboard with calls, missed and answered-by-AI counts, linking to Reports → Calls.
Phone-only accounts open on Messages
Signing in to a Seglo Phone account takes you straight to Messages, with no booking dashboard, no plan picker and no "Get your first booking" guide.
Getting a Seglo Phone number
Pick Bookings or Seglo Phone when you sign up
A new account starts by choosing one of the two. Bookings goes to the grooming setup and plan choice as before. Seglo Phone goes to a full-screen setup: your business details, your number, then the plan.
Bring the mobile number your customers already have
Choose Bring my number, type it, tap Text me a code and enter the code to confirm it is yours. Only Australian mobiles can be moved. The steps that follow ask for your account details with the current provider and a transfer authority, then the plan, then a review. Cards are saved before the transfer is sent, so nothing goes to the carrier until payment details are in place.
Your service address is the line's address
A phone-only shop no longer has to create a shop location to finish setup. The address you enter is the line's own service address, it can be your home, and it never appears in your shop listing or booking page. Shops that already have a location still pick one. Business name, ABN and your name are asked once, before any payment.
Leave and come back
Close the browser halfway and the next visit reopens the same request at the same step. Start over cancels it and returns to the first choice; if the $149 setup fee was already paid, the confirmation says it will be refunded and a credit note follows. If Seglo needs one more detail to complete a transfer, the progress page shows the note and Update details lets you fix it and send it back without starting again.
A new number shows "Awaiting activation"
After paying the setup fee for a new number, the progress page says Awaiting activation and what to do if you have not heard from us in a day or two. Once the line is set up on our side, it goes live and the monthly plan starts from that day.
Billing, cards and credits
Cards, invoices and billing details
Settings → Billing → Payment methods adds a card, sets the default and removes a card that is not the default. The last card cannot be removed while a plan is live. Invoice history lists Seglo Phone invoices under the Seglo Phone plan tab, where they belong. Billing info and Tax settings save your address, GST and ABN, and the same details appear on your invoices.
Credits top-up and auto top-up
Settings → Credits shows the balance and usage. Top up and the balance updates within a minute; a declined card shows the decline inline and adds nothing. Turn on auto top-up under a threshold and the charge lands within a few minutes. A card that keeps declining gets at most three failure emails a day, and the "credits" link in those emails opens the page.
What a failed payment does
A failed plan payment pauses the portal until the card is replaced, and the email says so plainly with a Pay invoice button. Owners can always reach the billing page to swap the card. A failed Seglo Phone setup fee never pauses the portal; it says nothing was charged and asks for another card. A plan downgrade shows as "Your plan changes to Starter on 14 Oct" instead of disappearing silently.
Google review texts for shops without Bookings
Ask for a review from the conversation
Seglo Phone shops without bookings have nothing to trigger a review text automatically, so the ask is now manual. Open a customer's thread in Front Desk, choose Ask for a Google review from the menu, and the text goes that evening around 7pm. Google reviews → Upcoming lists it as "Asked by staff". The automatic switch stays for shops with Bookings, and Google reviews now sits beside Clients in the sidebar for phone-only shops.
Notifications that name the caller
Voicemail and missed-call alerts say who
The voicemail email subject reads "New voicemail from 0412 345 678", or the caller's name with the number beside it when they are a saved client, and shows when it arrived and how long it is. Push and in-app alerts say "Jess Park left you a voicemail". Missed and declined call notices use the same caller line, never a blank.
Sign-in
Five wrong codes lock email sign-in for an hour
Entering the wrong sign-in code five times locks that email for an hour, and a correct code will not open it during the lock. Signing in correctly many times in an hour never locks you out.
Get Started
Everything here is live in your Seglo account. Open Settings → Seglo Phone to see who rings each number, and Reports → Calls for the calls you missed this week.
