Set the client profile fields your business asks for, and filter Messages by phone number
Choose what every client profile records from one settings page, filter Messages by which of your numbers a text came in on, and stay signed in on the appointment app.
Choose what every client profile records
One settings page for your client profile fields
A new Profile fields button on the Clients list opens the fields every client profile records — dog size, allergies, a note, whatever your business asks. Edit it once and it changes every profile, so you are not repeating yourself client by client.
Each row says what it asks, in plain words
Every field describes itself the way you would say it out loud — "Pick one · Small, Medium, Large, XL", "Yes or no", "A note". There is nothing to configure about field types, controls, or which box is required.
See which fields the customer answers and which staff fill in
Each field carries a tag: Always on for the profile name, Asked at booking when the field is part of your pricing so the customer answers it while booking, and Staff fill in for everything your team records. You can tell at a glance where an answer comes from.
Add a field from your library, or write your own
Add field opens the fields Seglo already knows, each showing its answers up front — plus three plain custom shapes if you need something of your own: a note, a yes-or-no, or a list of choices. Old profile-form editor links now land here, so there is one door instead of two.
Filter Messages by which of your numbers a text came in on
A number chip on every conversation
If your business texts from two or more numbers, each conversation now shows which of your numbers it arrived on. Businesses with one number see no extra clutter.
Filter the list by number
A row of number pills above the conversations narrows the list to one of your numbers, and the unread count narrows with it — so the badge and the list agree. Pick a single number and the per-row chips disappear, because the whole screen is already that number.
Scroll a long inbox without conversations duplicating or going missing
The conversation list now pages as you scroll instead of by page number. A long inbox no longer stops loading past a certain depth, and a text arriving mid-scroll can no longer duplicate a row or push one out of sight.
Names on older messages, and new texts arriving without a refresh
Scroll back through a long thread, or jump to a search result, and your team's replies keep their name and photo instead of going blank. A new inbound text now moves the conversation to the top on its own — on the appointment app and on Front Desk on your computer.
Stay signed in on the appointment app
The random logouts are gone
The appointment app now holds its own sign-in on the device instead of relying on a browser session, so closing the app, force-quitting it, or leaving it overnight no longer logs you out. If a sign-in renewal is interrupted mid-flight, the app recovers on its own rather than dropping you at the login screen.
Signing out signs out that device, and only that device
Sign out in the app and it is that device that is signed out, decided by the server. Your other sessions — the same account on a computer, for instance — keep working.
Opening an appointment page in Safari or Chrome shows a login screen
Opening a Seglo page that needs a sign-in from a phone browser, rather than the app, now shows the login screen instead of a blank white page. Signing out in the browser lands you back on login and stays there.
A steadier start
The app holds its splash screen until the first screen is actually ready, so you no longer watch an empty shell while it loads, and a slow network gives you a clear retry instead of an indefinite wait.
Give your team exactly the access you mean
Say what each person can see and do, area by area
Team access is now set per area — clients, bookings, pay, timesheets, phone, settings — with a separate say over whether someone sees their own work or everyone's. Grant approval on an area and Seglo widens the view to match, so an approver can never be looking at less than they are approving.
Check who can do something, without opening every profile
Pick a capability — "Download pay data", for example — and see everyone who currently has it, why they have it, and how many of your team that is. It answers "who can take pay data out of the business" in one screen.
A record of the sensitive things people do
Actions worth knowing about are recorded and shown by default, including the ones that were blocked. Access can also be set to end on a date, and suspending someone keeps their settings intact for when they come back.
