Clock staff in and out by phone, kiosk or a tap tag — and let your team request leave
Choose how your team clocks in at each location, clock in by tapping a Seglo tag, let staff request leave for approval, and set every pricing question from one grid.
Clock staff in and out, your way
Choose which clock-in methods your business allows
A new Time & Attendance section in Settings lets you say how your team clocks in — from their phone, at a kiosk, or by tapping a Seglo tag. Set it once for the business, or set a different rule for a single shop. Nothing changes for you until you change it: phone and kiosk start on, tags start off.
Clock in by tapping a Seglo tag
Tap a Seglo tag at the door with a phone — no app to open, no code to type. The tap does not punch on its own: a panel slides up showing where the person stands and one button to press, Clock In or Clock Out, with the hours so far when a shift is already open. Someone on leave, or already finished for the day, sees that instead of a button they should not press. Seglo makes and sends the tags; you name them, assign them to a shop, and switch one off or replace it from Settings if it is lost.
See at a glance which shops can tap
Settings → Time & Attendance now lists your shops rather than your tags, each with its own state — ready, waiting to be activated, or no tag yet. Shops with something outstanding sort to the top, and the whole row opens the tag when there is one.
See how every punch was recorded
The timesheet grid now shows how each clock-in and clock-out arrived — phone, kiosk, tag, or entered by a manager — so a disputed shift has an answer rather than an argument. Because a tap only ever opens the panel, tapping twice cannot open and close a shift by accident.
Let your team request leave
Staff request their own leave, managers approve it
Your team can now put in their own leave request instead of asking you to enter it. Requests land with whoever you have given approval rights to, and approving or rejecting is one action. Staff see their own requests and nobody else's.
Leave reasons stay private on the roster
A leave reason no longer shows on the shared roster view. The person and the dates are visible so the week can be planned; the reason is not.
Set every pricing question from one grid
Services down the side, answers across the top
Settings → Pricing is now one grid per question — your services down the side, the answers across the top. Fill in a price where it applies, and see at a glance which service and answer combinations still have no price set.
Edit an inherited price without starting over
A price a service inherits from your business default is now editable in place, so changing one service's price for one answer no longer means rebuilding the rule.
Ask each question once, or every booking
A question is either part of your pricing — so the customer answers it while booking — or it is recorded once on the client's profile. There is no third setting to get wrong, and a question with no price set now stops the booking instead of quietly charging a price nobody chose.
Calls that ring, and lines that free up
Know when a call reached nobody
A call that rang no one is now reported as exactly that, separately from a missed call. Previously both arrived saying "Missed Call", which hid the difference between nobody answering and nobody being reachable at all.
The dial pad stops showing a line as busy after the call ends
A line that had already been released could stay greyed out as in use, so the next call could not go out on it. Lines now free up as soon as the call ends.
Inbound calls route on a newly configured number
Setting up a phone line now records which number inbound calls should arrive on. Before this, a line could register successfully and still never pass a call through.
Payments, messages and dates
Tap to Pay on Android
Tap to Pay on an Android phone now explains a declined or failed payment in plain words instead of a code, and the how-to-tap row hides itself on devices where it does nothing.
Resend a text that failed to send
A message that failed now carries a Resend control, so a text that did not go out is one tap from going out — no retyping, no duplicate conversation.
Today means today where your business is
Dates now follow your business's timezone rather than the browser's. A leave request on the last day of the month, a customer's available booking slots, the advance-booking window, and the numbers in your reports all agree on which day it is, wherever you or your staff happen to be.
No-show fees show in your currency
A no-show fee is now formatted in the business's own currency and number format instead of following the device it is read on.
Clearer team access
Staff no longer see a Time & Attendance page they cannot open
Ordinary staff can correct their own punches, but the Time & Attendance page has always been a manager's page. It no longer appears in the sidebar or the mobile More menu for people who cannot use it.
Buying and releasing phone numbers is its own permission
Managing your business phone lines now asks for its own permission rather than riding on the one that opens the phone app. The buttons a person cannot use are no longer shown to them.
The access editor reads as one thing
The permission groups in the team access editor now read as groups, the column that decides whose records someone sees is named Whose rows instead of sitting a letter away from the tick column, and the Access page finally has a proper name in Chinese.
