Bring your existing business number to Seglo Phone, set up a counter kiosk, and see caller names on every call
Port your existing business number to Seglo Phone, decide exactly what your counter kiosk can do, and see the client's name on calls, messages and voicemail instead of a bare number.
Port your existing business number to Seglo Phone
Keep the number your customers already call
You can now bring your existing business number across to Seglo Phone instead of taking a new one. The setup runs as a stepped flow you can leave and come back to — your progress is saved, so gathering a recent bill or confirming account details does not cost you the work you have already done.
Upload your port documents securely
Proof of ownership is uploaded straight into private storage, checked on arrival, and never exposed on a public link. You upload it once and the transfer team works from it.
Emergency calls keep working
000, 112 and 106 are carried on your Seglo Phone number. They are never blocked, before or after a transfer.
Know where the transfer is up to
You get a notification when the port is submitted, when it succeeds, and if the carrier rejects it — so you learn about a problem from us rather than from a customer who could not get through.
Seglo Phone billing is separate and clear
The Seglo Phone app is $149 setup plus $79 a month, billed as its own subscription apart from your platform plan. Cancelling one does not touch the other. The old $49 a month phone-number add-on is retired and no longer sold; Seglo Phone replaces it, and the details are on the pricing page.
Set up a counter kiosk and decide what it can do
You choose which screens the counter device offers
Settings has a new Kiosk page. Turn on only what the shared device at your counter should be able to do — the tabs a staff member sees on that device follow what you switch on, and anything you leave off is unavailable on the device, not just hidden.
See every live kiosk and cut off a lost device
The Kiosk page lists the devices currently signed in as a kiosk. If one goes missing or leaves the shop, end its session from here and it stops working immediately. Signing out on the device itself also ends the session properly rather than leaving it open.
Existing kiosk devices need one re-activation
Because kiosk permissions are now set per business, every device already running as a kiosk asks to be re-activated once after this release. An owner re-activates it from Settings → Kiosk and the device is back in under a minute. This is a one-off; the device carries on as normal afterwards.
Kiosk on mobile
You can check kiosk settings from your phone and end a session there too. Changing the option set stays on desktop.
Client names on calls, messages and voicemail
Voicemail shows who left it
A voicemail from a client you already have on file now shows their name instead of a bare phone number, including for calls that arrived before the client existed in your records.
Add or rename a client and the history catches up
Add a new client, or correct a name or number on an existing one, and their call, message, callback and voicemail records repaint with the right name within seconds — on the web and in the Seglo Phone app, without a reload.
Numbers are stored one consistent way
Phone numbers are normalised wherever a client record is created or edited, so a number typed with a leading zero, with spaces, or in international format all match the same client instead of quietly creating a second one.
Today's Briefing
Briefing has its own permission
Access to Today's Briefing is now its own setting rather than being bundled with AI access. Owners and anyone who already had AI access keep it automatically. If a manager or front desk member is missing the Briefing after this release, switch on Day briefing for them in the member access editor — the row is there now.
Vaccination and medical flags read as safety warnings
Vaccination fields on a client profile surface as a safety warning, and the medical flag you set in the Attribute Library carries through onto submitted form responses. Red is reserved for genuine hazards, so a safety topic that is simply worth knowing no longer reads as an alarm.
Briefing leads the Business section on mobile
On the mobile More page, Today's Briefing sits at the top of the Business section instead of further down the list.
Notifications
Turn notifications on for the device you are holding
Business notification settings gain a This device row that reflects whether the phone or tablet in your hand has granted permission — not whether some other device on your account has. If you have ever been told notifications were on while a particular device stayed silent, this is the setting that fixes it.
iPad asks for notification permission
The iPad app now prompts for notification permission on first use instead of never asking, so an iPad at the counter can receive alerts.
Reminders are working again
A recent change stopped booking reminders being sent. Every reminder path is restored and sending normally.
Payments and records
An in-flight terminal refund is no longer flagged as unresolved
Start a refund on the terminal and the booking no longer shows an unresolved-money warning while the refund is still processing. The warning is now reserved for money that genuinely needs attention.
Form responses show the answer, not a code
A stored form response displays the option's label — the answer as it was written — rather than an internal identifier.
Businesses still running on Square stop receiving settlement emails
If you have imported your data from Square but have not switched over yet, the daily settlement email no longer goes out for bookings you are still taking payment for in Square.
On mobile
Change your language from Settings
Your language setting sits on the mobile Settings index, one tap from More, instead of being buried in a separate app-settings page.
The pay run and service templates read in English
The pay-run team table and the service template gallery were showing raw internal labels instead of readable text in some places. Both read properly now, in English and Chinese.
