Dictate a client note instead of typing it, and let Google review requests go out on their own
Hold the search button and speak — the note is transcribed and filed against the right client. Google review requests now send themselves per shop, with the rules you set.
Dictate a client note instead of typing it
Hold, speak, let go
On mobile, press and hold the search button, say what happened, and let go. What you said is transcribed and saved as a client note — no typing between the dog leaving and the next one arriving.
It files the note against the right client
The transcription is matched against the day's appointments, so "Lulu's mum wants the same clip next time" lands on Lulu's record rather than in a list you have to sort out later. The note shows which appointment it was matched to, and if it picked the wrong one you can flag it back for correction.
It knows grooming words
The transcriber is given the trade's vocabulary — breed names, coat and clip terms, the equipment — so it stops turning them into the nearest everyday word. Your own client and staff names are given to it too.
Swipe up to throw a recording away
Change your mind mid-sentence and swipe up; the recording is discarded. Recordings are also held while they upload, so a note survives leaving the screen or a patchy signal.
The recording itself is never kept
Only the text is stored. There is no audio file kept anywhere after the transcription is made.
Find everything you dictated
My voice notes in the More menu lists your own notes, so a note that was filed somewhere unexpected is still findable.
Google review requests that send themselves
Requests go out on their own, per shop
The old queue with a Send button is gone. Review requests now schedule and send themselves after a completed appointment, with each shop's own settings and its own Google link — a multi-site business is not one blended setting any more.
You decide which services ask
Any service can be set not to ask for a review. A $15 nail clip no longer burns the cooldown that the full groom should have used, so the ask lands on the visit worth asking about.
Stop asking a particular client
Mark a client never ask again and they drop out of every future send. A booking label can also suppress the ask, and both are visible where you set them rather than buried.
See what is going out before it goes
Today's Briefing shows the review requests queued for the day and lets you stop or release them. Nothing sends behind your back.
One scoreboard, one row per shop
The reviews page lists each shop on its own row — rating and review count per site, never averaged into one number that describes nowhere. The band that needs your attention drills straight into the reviews behind it.
Replying to Google reviews inside Seglo is built and waiting on Google's approval of our API access; until that lands, the rating and review-count band stays empty.
Know when a staff member cannot be reached
The team list says who is not getting notifications
Staff who cannot receive push notifications are marked on the team list, on both desktop and mobile, and the owner's dashboard says how many. Before this, a staff member could stop receiving notifications and nobody found out until something was missed.
It says why, and what to do
Each case reads as its own state — signed out, or the app not set up to receive that kind of notification — with the remedy for that case, instead of one unexplained mark. Where the gap is ours, the mark says so rather than pointing at the person.
Signing out on one phone no longer silences the others
Signing out used to clear notification registrations across the whole account. It now only affects the handset you signed out on.
Leave
The leave page says what happened, not only what is waiting
Approved and declined requests are shown alongside pending ones, so the page is a record rather than only an inbox.
Mobile approvals remember the decision you just made
Approving or declining on mobile no longer loses the decision when the list refreshes.
Smaller fixes
Phone numbers look the same everywhere
Numbers are stored one consistent way and formatted at the point they are shown, so the same number no longer appears three different ways across the app.
The booking funnel reads more clearly
Questions you have already answered read as done, and the ones still open are the ones drawing your eye. Options with a price and options without now sit at the same height instead of the priced ones being taller, and variant rows stop stepping unevenly when only some carry a duration.
Today's Briefing is available to every role
The day briefing is now a standard permission every role holds, rather than something an owner had to grant by hand. The briefing also marks which internal notes came in as voice notes.
What's Coming
