A photo album for every pet, booking forms that ask real questions, and a flag on unanswered texts
Each pet now has its own photo album on their profile, booking form questions read as sentences instead of field labels, and the Front Desk flags customer texts nobody has answered.
Photos on a pet's profile
Every pet has their own album
Open a pet in a client's profile and there is now a Photos section holding every photo your shop has taken of that pet, grouped by visit date and the service on that day, newest first. Before/after shots stay as a draggable comparison slider. Tap one to open it full screen, where you can set it as the pet's profile photo or jump straight to the appointment it came from.
The album is read-only. Deleting a photo, sharing it with the customer and uploading still happen on the appointment, where they always have.
Say which pet a photo is of
When an appointment covers more than one pet, each photo in Manage Photos now shows which pet it belongs to, and a "This photo is of" control lets you change it. Single-pet appointments are unchanged — the photo is attributed for you. Older photos that could belong to either pet read as Unassigned until someone picks.
The album shows up wherever a client profile opens: the desktop drawer, the mobile sheet, the kiosk, the waitlist and the schedule detail panel.
Booking forms
Questions read as sentences, not field labels
A form question now reads the way you would ask it out loud, with its answer underneath, instead of a bold label above an input box. Choices render as answer cards rather than a cramped segmented strip, a chosen answer carries a check so you can see what was picked, and a long list stays searchable as it grows.
Pick what an answer is, not which control to use
When you build a question you now choose what you are asking for — short text, long text, an email address or a phone number — and Seglo picks the right control, keyboard and validation. You are no longer choosing between control types and hoping the phone keyboard matches.
A date question offers the date before it opens a calendar
Date questions now put the likely answers in front of the customer first and keep the full calendar one tap away, so the common case is a single tap.
Booking
Ask at booking, finish afterwards
The booking step now asks only what it needs to take the booking. Anything optional — the details that are nice to have but should not stand between a customer and a confirmed slot — is offered after the booking is made, so the customer can fill it in at their own pace and you still get it.
The booking always says who it is for
The profile step now states which pet the booking is for at every point, and changing pet is a control on the summary rather than a line of text you have to find. Signing in part-way through re-opens the pet selector where you left it instead of dropping you back at the start.
Pet options show their icons
Size and coat-type options in the booking funnel now carry their own artwork, so a customer picking their dog's size or coat is looking at pictures rather than reading a list.
Front Desk and messages
A flag on customer texts nobody has answered
A conversation where the customer wrote last and nobody has replied now carries an "Awaiting reply" dot on the Front Desk list, with a filter to show only those threads. The same dot appears on mobile.
Seglo also checks during your opening hours and sends one reminder per location for the threads still waiting, so an overnight or a busy-Saturday text does not sit unnoticed until Monday. It reminds once, not repeatedly, and it only counts threads that actually need a reply — a "thanks!" or a thumbs-up does not put a shop on the list.
The thread header shows the client's pets
Opening a conversation now shows which pets belong to that client in the header, so you know who you are talking about before scrolling back through the thread.
Seglo Phone
One page for the phone: what it did, which handsets, what it costs
Settings → Seglo Phone is now a real page with three tabs instead of a redirect. Overview shows this month's calls, answered and missed, and talk time, broken down by number and by staff member. Devices lists every handset on the account with unapproved ones at the top. Plan shows the $79 base plus $29 per handset, the next charge date, phone invoices on their own, and cancellation.
A new handset has to be approved before it rings
Signing in on a new phone no longer puts it on the line by itself. It appears in Devices for an owner to approve or remove, and the +$29 it will add is shown before you approve, not after it appears on your bill. Approving syncs the charge and removing it stops the charge.
Turning a number on or off no longer needs us
Enabling or disabling a phone number for a staff member is now yours to do from the Phone Numbers page, which also carries the device seats and a route back to the phone hub.
Learn
A grooming library in place of the blog
/blog is now /learn: a pet-grooming hub organised into five topic pillars, so an article sits under the subject it belongs to and related reading is one click away rather than buried in a reverse-chronological list.
Get Started
Everything here is live in your Seglo account now — no setup needed. The pet photo album and the new form questions appear the next time you open a client profile or edit a booking form.
If you are on Seglo Phone, open Settings → Seglo Phone to see this month's call figures and check which handsets are on your account.
