Staff permissions with one Save, daily text limits, and search on mobile More
Change staff permissions on web or mobile and press Save, see each number's daily text limit and why a text is waiting, and search every setting on mobile.
Staff permissions now work like a form: switch what someone can do, press Save, on the web or on your phone.
Staff permissions and team management
Change a person's permissions and press Save
Open Team → Staff permissions. By staff shows what each person can do; By permission shows who has a permission. Switch permissions on or off straight away, then press Save. Leave with changes unsaved and Seglo asks whether to discard them. Turning off View also removes the actions that need it. On mobile, the same page is under More → Team management → Staff permissions.
Find and add team members on mobile
The team list on mobile has a search for name, role or location, and a filter by member status. Add someone with just their name, with email optional, and fill in their role, services and pay later. Each person's page is split into Basic details, Bookings & services, Employment & pay and Apps & permissions.
Rosters and shifts
Overlapping shifts are stopped before they're saved
Every shift save now checks the person's whole roster, including each date a regular shift repeats on. A regular shift that would land on top of a one-off shift is refused, and the message names the person, the date and the shift it clashes with.
Saved shifts appear on the schedule straight away
Adding, editing or deleting a shift on the team schedule updates the card as soon as the save goes through, without waiting for the whole roster to reload. The weeks either side load in advance, so moving to the next or previous week is quicker.
Edit a base roster on your phone
On mobile, open a shift's Shift Details and choose Edit base roster to set a person's regular hours one day at a time: start and end times, breaks, more than one shift a day, and how often it repeats. Copy a day fills the days without shifts from a day you've already set.
Plainer names for regular-shift actions
Not working this day is now Skip this day, Mark as Leave is Add leave, and the series actions are Edit regular shift and Delete regular shift. Only the names changed.
Texts and Messages
See each number's daily text limit
Phone settings → Numbers shows, on numbers with a daily text limit, how many texts have gone out today against the limit and when the count resets at midnight. If you can change the phone plan, Request a higher limit asks Seglo to raise it, and the card shows Higher limit requested until it's handled.
Every text says why it failed or what it's waiting for
A failed text now shows the reason underneath, such as The carrier couldn't deliver it. Check the number. A text that's still waiting says why, like Phone offline. Sends when it reconnects. Over the daily limit, the text shows when the limit resets and Resend stays off until then. Delivery not confirmed marks a text Seglo couldn't confirm, and resending one asks first so the customer doesn't get two copies. Resend is now on mobile too.
Opening a conversation clears its unread mark for everyone
When anyone on your team opens a conversation, its unread mark clears on every other screen that has Messages open, on the web and on mobile, without refreshing.
A badge shows where each conversation came from
Each conversation in Messages starts with a coloured badge: green for SMS, grey for your website chat. An unread conversation shows a red dot on the badge's corner.
AI Receptionist on calls
Returning callers aren't asked about their pet again
When a known customer calls, the AI Receptionist starts with what's on file for each pet, such as breed and size, and asks only what's missing, like when the last groom was. Once a caller names the service, it doesn't ask what they'd like done.
Short answers when callers ask what you offer
Asked "what styles do you have?", the receptionist names up to three options and says how many others there are. Prices come from your pricing rules, not from the wording in the service name.
Callers hear why a booking can't be changed
If a cancellation is past your deadline or not allowed, the receptionist says so and offers a call back from your team. If a new time can't be booked because it's taken, too soon, too far ahead or on a closed day, it says which.
Services nobody is assigned to
When a caller asks for a service no one on your team is set up to do, the receptionist says it has no open times. Before, the call ended with the caller told the system was down.
Seglo on mobile
Search every setting from More
More now has a search box. Type a setting, a task or a staff member's name, and the result opens the exact control. Chinese searches work too. A result you can't use says why, such as Ask the owner for access, and coming back from a result reopens the search with your words still in it.
Sign Out is at the bottom of More
Sign Out is the last row on More, instead of two levels down in Settings.
