Auto Reminder, Missed call text and all your notifications in one place
Text owners a week before a pet's suggested next groom, text back callers nobody answered, and set every notification from one page.
Auto Reminder
Text the owner a week before the next groom
Some owners won't go on Auto Book but still want a nudge. Turn on Auto Reminder for a pet under Plan the next groom at checkout, or on the pet's care card. Seven days before the pet's suggested next groom, Seglo texts the owner up to three times that suit them, based on the pet's usual day, time and groomer. Nothing is booked until you book it.
From your own Seglo Phone number, the owner replies with the day that suits them and the reply lands in Messages. Without your own number, the text comes from Seglo's number with your booking link instead.
The switch tells you when the text will go, such as "Texts the owner on 2 Nov, 7 days before the suggested next groom on 9 Nov", and later when it was sent. A pet whose next groom is already booked is reminded before the groom after that one. An owner with several pets gets one text, and each pet is reminded once per care cycle. The owner's client record lists Auto Reminder for every pet.
Write both texts in your own words
In Settings → Notifications → Customers, edit Auto Reminder (sent from your number) and Auto Reminder link (sent from Seglo's number). These two can include the client's first name and the pet's name.
Missed call text for Seglo Phone
When nobody answers, the caller gets a text from your number, and their reply comes into Messages. Turn on Text missed callers in Seglo Phone → Call handling for each location, and use Edit message to change what it says. It's off until you turn it on.
Each mobile caller gets one text a day at most, so someone who rings three times hears from you once. Landlines and hidden numbers aren't texted. On Calls, a missed call that was texted shows Texted back with the time, and opens the conversation.
Notifications in one place
Settings → Notifications now has three tabs:
- Customers: the Text messages switch, then every message customers get before, on the day of and after a visit. Change its channels, timing and wording in one panel. Customer Messages has moved here.
- You: what you get and the alerts you can turn off. With Seglo Phone, Do Not Disturb is a switch with its From and To times beside it, the same setting as in the Seglo Phone app.
- Team: who gets customer message alerts, the Assigned conversations switch, and what each person gets for shifts, bookings, calls and team chat.
On mobile, the You settings are under Settings → Notifications.
If Seglo Phone and Seglo Booking are both on one phone, team chat messages, mentions and invoice payment alerts now arrive once on that phone instead of in both apps. A text to the customer when you cancel or move their booking now follows your Cancellations and Reschedules text switches.
Set up Seglo Phone and Bookings together
A new business can choose Seglo Phone, Bookings or both, and in which order. Phone first is recommended, so you can set up Bookings while your number is being prepared. Your setup shows where each one is up to.
Bookings setup saves as you go, so you can leave and pick it up on any device. Setup options has Save & exit and Start over, and lets you switch to the other product first. Every step has Help. You choose your Bookings plan before the final screen.
The $149 setup fee for a new Seglo Phone number is now charged when you submit the request, not when you choose a plan. The plan step only saves your card.
Notebook
Each note is a task
The notebook is now one list of notes, with the most recently changed note first. A note opens ready to write and saves as you go. Tap anywhere on a to-do row to tick it. Drag a to-do by its handle to reorder it, and on a phone swipe it left to delete it.
A red badge for to-dos that are due
A red count shows how many to-dos are due, on More → Notebook on mobile, on the To-dos tab and on Notebook in your profile menu.
Also in this update
- Your booking page tells you why it isn't live. If you open your own booking link before it's published, you see Your booking page isn't live yet, whether working hours are set, and Publish. Customers still see a not found page.
- Shifts only go to stores a person works at. To take a store off someone's locations, remove their shifts there first. Seglo names the store and links to its Schedule. Shift invites only go to people who work at that store.
- Open Slots show on the calendar every day they're open, before any booking lands, headed with how many services they take. On the team schedule, Open Slots sit above your team.
- Fill your day is now Booking optimisation in Booking settings.
- Every pay rule in Pay settings on mobile: pay schedule, clock rounding, overtime, weekend rates and breaks. Pay periods are marked Current and Overdue, and a business with more than one location sees that pay covers all of them.
- Saving Edit times without changing anything no longer stops a day from following later roster changes.
- A rescheduled booking keeps its priced answers. When a customer moves a booking online or by phone, the answers it was priced on stay with it.
