Fully booked days, staff time by experience level and Auto Reminder numbers
Mark a day Fully booked so customers and the AI receptionist can't book it, size bookings by each groomer's experience level, and choose who gets Auto Reminder.
Mark a day Fully booked
Stop new customer and AI bookings for one day
When a day is full, open the calendar's options menu and turn on Fully booked. Customers booking online and the AI receptionist on calls, texts and website chat no longer see times on that day, and can't move a booking onto it. A customer who picks the day sees This day is fully booked. Please choose another day.
The bookings already on the day stay. Your opening hours don't change, and you and your team can still book the day by hand. The waitlist keeps working: a customer who accepts a waitlist offer for that exact time still gets it. Auto Book books on another day instead.
The day shows a Fully booked chip on the calendar, on a computer and on mobile. The switch appears when you are looking at one location, on today or a later day, and you have permission to edit bookings.
Staff time follows the groomer's experience level
Booking length changes with the assigned groomer
Each team member's Experience level (Junior, Intermediate or Expert) now sets how long their part of a booking takes, every time someone is assigned or changed. That covers dragging a booking to another groomer, changing staff in the booking details, assigning from Unassigned, and bookings made by the AI receptionist, Auto Book and the waitlist. Moving a booking back to an Intermediate groomer returns it to the service's own length, and drying or rest time never changes.
When you create a booking, the end time and each service row show the minutes for the groomer you chose before you save. The calendar card and the booking details show the same minutes.
If the new length runs into another booking, you get the clash warning with the option to book anyway.
Lengths you set by hand are kept
If you type an end time or change a booking's length yourself, that length stays through any later staff change. Moving a booking to another groomer at the same start time no longer asks whether to tell the customer, and the customer isn't sent a message when only the pickup time changes because of the new groomer.
Experience level on mobile
Experience level is now in a team member's Skills on mobile, saved the same way as on a computer.
Auto Reminder and Auto Book setup
Choose which number gets Auto Reminder
A pet's Auto Reminder settings now show Send reminders to with the number the texts go to, and whether it came from this booking or the client profile. Change it there, or tap Use booking number or Use client number to switch. The number you confirm is used only for that pet's reminders.
When a client profile has no mobile number, Auto Reminder now uses the phone number from that pet's latest booking.
Set the care cycle inside the settings
Set the Care cycle with the slider inside Auto Reminder and Auto Book, without leaving the sheet. Auto Reminder shows the Suggested next groom and the Expected reminder date for the cycle you pick, before you save. If the next groom is already booked, it says so.
See the Auto Book date before you turn it on
Auto Book setup shows the Expected next visit as you choose pets, services and a care cycle. The setup choices are shorter too: Always together is one visit and one care cycle for the pets, and Arrange each pet separately keeps each pet's own cycle.
Simpler Grooming Care cards on mobile
On mobile, each pet's card shows the pet, its care cycle and the Next appointment with one main action. Auto Book and Auto Reminder open in their own sheet from the bottom of the card.
Customer notifications
Missed call text and Auto Reminder switches in Customers
Settings → Notifications → Customers now has a Text switch for Missed call text, Auto Reminder and Auto Reminder link. Switching an Auto Reminder text off stops it, and the pet's Auto Reminder says the texts are switched off in Notifications. Switch it back on and reminders start again.
Preferred channels
Where a customer message offers both Text and Email, the switches now sit under Preferred channels. If you turn one off, customers who can't get the other still get your message: with Email off, a customer without a mobile number gets the email; with Text off, a customer without an email address gets the text. The switched-off row says Only for customers without a mobile number or Only for customers without an email address.
Edit customer messages case by case
When you edit a customer message, each kind of booking now has its own box showing what customers get today: Drop-off bookings and Other bookings, and for reminders Earlier reminders and Same-day reminder. Each box has its own preview, and Save saves them all. If a save can't go through, the reason shows above Save.
Customers see the names they gave their pets
Your records keep your names for clients and pets, unchanged. Everything a customer sees or receives now uses the names from their own Seglo account instead: their booking pages and pet pages, reminders and booking messages, waitlist offers, review requests, agreement emails, invoices and the AI receptionist. A customer who hasn't named a pet sees Your pet, and a customer without a name on their account is greeted without one.
On an invoice, Bill to shows the billing name you entered, otherwise the account holder's name, otherwise nothing.
What a customer changes on their own pet doesn't change your record, and your edits don't change theirs. A customer viewing your record of a pet they haven't named sees Name your pet to add their own name.
Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp in Messages
In conversations from Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp you can now react to a message or remove your reaction. Use Reply on a message to quote it in your answer where the channel supports it, and a customer's quoted reply shows the message it answers.
You can choose several photos and send them in one go. If some don't send, the ones that didn't go come back to the message box, and those already sent aren't sent twice. If the connection drops before Seglo hears back, Messages shows Delivery unconfirmed. Check the conversation before sending again. instead of putting the message back to resend.
Instagram story replies, story mentions and shared posts appear in the conversation.
