01 / Before the dog reaches the table
Match the service to a suitable groomer.
Service skills decide who can take the work. Pet history and notes tell that person what they are about to meet.
The owner remembers that this dog dislikes the dryer, but the groomer standing at the table has never been told.

02 / What you can do
Give your team the work and information they need
Keep the details with the booking so your team can see what's been agreed and what to do next.
Start with the work they are qualified to take
Define who performs each breed-specific groom, de-shed or specialist service so an open shift is never mistaken for capability.
Keep shifts and leave up to date
Groomers and assistants see their shifts, assigned dogs and changes on their phone. Leave is reflected before bookings are offered.
Show the history before the groom begins
Coat, temperament, allergies, handling notes, photos and previous groom details reach the person doing the work before the pet arrives.
Keep each person's work with their pay figures
The services each person delivered feed the pay review, so the owner checks the result instead of rebuilding it from the diary later.

See how it works →04 / Questions groomers ask
Can I control which services each groomer performs?
Yes. Skills and service assignments help Seglo offer a booking only when a suitably qualified groomer is available.
Does the staff app handle clock-in and clock-out?
Yes. Staff can clock in and out on their phone. The records feed pay calculations for you to review, including any missing clock-outs.
How is commission calculated?
Set a commission rate for a service or staff member. You can also increase it when sales reach an amount you choose. Review the calculated figures before finalising pay.
Can assistants be assigned to part of a groom?
Yes. Set time for an assistant to help with bathing, drying or finishing. Your groomer keeps the parts they need to do themselves.
Does the pay run sync to Xero?
With Xero Payroll connected and staff mappings completed, finalised pay runs can sync to Xero. Review sync status and resolve any setup errors.
