Your pay settings
Set how your team’s pay is calculated.
| You set | Your choices |
|---|---|
| Each person’s pay | Hourly pay, commission or both, with a rate for each groomer. |
| Pay periods | Weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Choose your work-week start and payday timing. |
| Overtime | Choose daily or weekly overtime, when it starts and the higher rate to use. |
| Weekend pay | Set Saturday and Sunday rates for the shop, or different rates for individual staff. |
| Breaks | Choose paid or unpaid breaks. Set when to deduct an unpaid break and how long it is. |
| Clock-in times | Keep exact times or round clock-ins and clock-outs to your chosen number of minutes. |
| Future changes | Choose when a new hourly or commission rate starts. Schedule changes to your pay periods too. |
When weekend and overtime rates both apply, the higher rate is used.
Working hours
Bring staff hours into pay without retyping them.
- Let staff clock in and out on their phone or your shop’s clock-in device.
- Count both parts of a split shift, including when staff clock out for a break.
- Use scheduled hours for staff who don’t need to clock in, when no clock times are recorded.
- See each day’s hours and whether they came from clock-ins, shifts or bookings.
Commission
See which work earned each groomer’s commission.
- Review commission from services, bundles and product sales assigned to each person.
- Check staff assignments before closing the day. Unassigned work cannot earn someone commission.
- Commission recorded when you close the day keeps its rate, even if you change that person’s rate later.
