Inbox, photos as one link, a missed call text per number and team activity
Messages becomes Inbox and shows how long each customer has waited, photos go out as one link, each phone number gets its own missed call text, and owners can see what their team did.
Inbox
Messages is now Inbox
On the web and mobile web, Messages is now called Inbox and works like the Seglo Phone app.
Each conversation shows how long the customer has been waiting since their first unanswered message. Your reply, Done or Waiting clears it.
Photos in a conversation show as an album you can open full screen, the same as on your phone.
See new messages on any page
When a customer messages you while you're on another page of the business dashboard, a card appears at the bottom left with their name and message. Open takes you to that conversation.
Replies to different customers are spaced out
When several people reply to different customers from the same number at once, Seglo sends those texts a few seconds apart, so the carrier delivers them all. Your own back-to-back texts to one customer still go together. A text waiting its turn shows as sent.
Send photos as one link
Pick several photos for a customer and Seglo sends them as one text with a link to all of them, instead of separate picture messages. The photos stay in the conversation for your team.
The customer's page shows photos and files in a layout that fits their phone, with Save all and Download all.
Missed call text for each number
Each Seglo Phone number now has its own missed call text, edited in that number's call handling. If you have one number for grooming and another for the shop, each caller gets the right message. Wording you had already written is copied to each of your numbers.
The text greets the caller by their first name when Seglo knows it.
Missed call texts and review asks now share one daily limit per shop. Once it's reached, a missed call isn't texted back, and Calls shows Not texted back · Sending limit reached on it.
Team activity
Owners and admins who manage team access can open Team → Access → Team activity to see what each person changed, such as edits to a client or a booking.
Pages and records your team opens are only recorded after the owner turns this on. Seglo asks you to confirm you've told your team first. Turning it off stops new ones.
Photo protection
Owners can turn on Settings → Team inbox → Photo protection to stop staff saving customer photos to their own device from the web and mobile web. Turning it on or off shows in Team → Access → Sensitive actions.
Bookings
Describe each booking photo
Open a booking photo's options and choose Add description. The description shows under the photo and in the full-size view, on the web, mobile web, iPad and the Appointments app.
Drop-off pickup reads as an approximate time
For drop-off bookings, the confirmation email and the customer's bookings page now say Approximate pickup · Around 2:30 pm, so customers know the time can move.
Reopening a booking keeps the customer's place
If a customer's connection drops while they reopen a booking, they come back to the time step with their services still selected.
Seglo Phone sign-up
- Bringing your number on a monthly plan no longer asks for your latest bill. Every transfer asks for the account holder's date of birth.
- The card step asks for your billing address if we don't have one, so your phone invoices carry it.
- You can try the demo phones right after you enter your business details.
