How does data migration work?

We map your existing system to Seglo, import your data, and you pick a switch date. The import covers clients, services, pricing, staff, and upcoming bookings — and we run it in a sandbox for you to review before going live, so there's no double-entry period and no surprises on day one.

Which systems can you import from?

We have direct importers for several major platforms (Square is live, with more being added) and a CSV importer for everything else — including hand-kept spreadsheets. If you can export it, we can bring it in. Tell us what you're on and we'll confirm the path before you sign up.

Will my clients lose their booking history or have to re-register?

No. Their full history (visits, services, pricing, notes, photos where supported) comes across with the import. Clients don't need to do anything — their next confirmation message points to your new booking page and that's it.

Do I keep my existing phone number?

Do I have to set everything up myself?

No — Seglo is fast enough that most owners set up their salon themselves in under 30 minutes. But if you'd rather not, our team offers a complimentary concierge setup for new businesses: send us your services, staff, hours, and a logo, and we'll have your account ready in 1–3 business days. No training required — the product is straightforward enough that most owners don't need a walkthrough, though we're happy to give you one if you'd like.

How quickly will my staff get comfortable using it?

Same-day for the basics. The staff mobile app is intentionally simple — clock in, see today's clients, swap shifts, request leave — so most teams pick it up on their own without training. If anyone has a question, support replies within one business day, and we're happy to book a short walkthrough call for the team if you'd rather show them live.

Is there a lock-in contract?

Plans are month-to-month — no annual contract, no exit fees. We'd rather you stay because it's working than because you're locked in.

Do you integrate with Xero?

Yes. Invoices, payments, prepayments, and credit notes sync both ways. Your accountant keeps Xero as the source of truth.
