The day briefing, redesigned

One timeline, everything on it

The briefing now reads as a single clean timeline: notes cluster where they belong, a NOW line tracks the current moment through the day, and tapping any booking opens its details in a drawer without leaving the page. Labels on each booking carry through from the schedule, and on mobile you can pull down to refresh.

Right where you need it

Open the briefing straight from the bookings screen menu. The header stays out of the way — your location and the date picker tucked into the corners, the day front and centre.

Rosters that bend without breaking

"Not working this day"

Someone can't come in on a day they're normally rostered? Mark them as not working this day — one action, that day only, their regular roster untouched. If bookings are already sitting on them, Seglo shows you the conflict right there and lets you decide what happens to each one before you confirm.

See tomorrow's staffing at a glance

The planning grid header now carries a staffing signal for each day: how your rostered hours compare with the demand that day usually brings, and where you're running short. No more counting rows to guess whether Thursday is covered.

Calls that tell the truth

Declined is not missed

When your team declines a call, it now shows as exactly that — a Declined badge, distinct from Missed — with its own notification, so end-of-day follow-up goes to the calls that actually slipped through. The missed-call filter and badge now count inbound calls only.

Checkout, protected

One charge, no matter how many hands

If two people try to settle the same appointment at the same time — front desk and the floor, two devices, a double-tap — Seglo now recognises the collision, keeps a single charge, and tells the second screen what happened and what to do next. Already-paid appointments say so instead of charging again.

Small touches

Dashboard analytics stay honest: every report view refreshes on schedule, and a business with no data yet sees "no data" rather than yesterday's numbers presented as today's.
Booking cards on the schedule show the account holder's name under the pet or client profile.
Staff calendar colours have been retuned so every name label is comfortably readable.
On mobile, typing a message no longer lands the composer behind the keyboard.
Sign-in security has been strengthened behind the scenes — sessions rotate more aggressively and verification codes are stored more safely. Nothing changes in how you sign in.
