AI receptionist per location: a separate phone line, personality and bill for each shop
Run an AI receptionist at each location instead of one for the whole business — own phone line, own greeting, own instructions, turned on and billed per shop. Customers can also chat with it on your booking page.
The AI receptionist used to be one setting for your whole business. If you run more than one shop, that meant one greeting, one set of instructions, and one on/off switch covering all of them. It is now per location.
AI receptionist: one per location, not one per business
Turn the receptionist on for each shop separately
Settings → AI receptionist opens on Your locations — every shop listed with its status, its phone line, and its monthly price. Turn one on and leave another off. Each is billed on its own, so a second shop only costs you once you switch it on. Archived locations are never billed.
A different greeting and different instructions per shop
Pick a location and the Call flow, Personality and What it can do tabs edit that shop alone. The receptionist can introduce itself with the shop's own name, use its own tone, and follow instructions that only apply there — useful when one location does cat grooming and the other doesn't.
Website chat and SMS suggestions live on a Channels tab
Website chat stays business-wide and now has its own Channels tab alongside SMS suggestions, with an icon per location showing which channels each shop has running. Call flow set to AI while the receptionist is off, or the line isn't connected yet, now says so on the page instead of failing silently on the call.
Customers can chat with your receptionist on the booking page
Your public booking page now carries the same receptionist as a chat. A customer can ask what a full groom includes or how long a de-shed takes, get an answer from your real service list, and carry straight on to booking and checkout without starting over. It also explains your services rather than only listing them, and recovers a booking when a caller changes their mind mid-way.
See who receives each notification, and why
Settings → Notifications now shows, for every event, exactly which people are eligible to receive it and the reason each one qualifies — their role, or a grant given to them directly. A staff member restricted to one location no longer shows as an everyone recipient, and a person who holds the same permission twice no longer shows a reason that contradicts their role.
Booking and checkout fixes
Pricing choices now save on the first attempt
Setting up a service with size- or attribute-based pricing could drop your choices when you saved, leaving the service half configured. Pricing mode and its variants now save together as one step, so the setup completes.
Payment sheets stay reachable, and stuck terminal windows close
The payment sheet now floats above the checkout instead of being trapped behind it, and a card terminal window that has finished no longer stays open waiting on nothing.
Shorter service lists when booking
Long service descriptions collapse to a one-line preview in the booking dialog, and the dialog header takes less room, so more services fit without scrolling. A service that has already been paid for no longer offers actions that no longer apply, and its refund figure lines up with the rest of the summary.
Preview how a day packs before you change the setting
Scheduling settings now show a read-only preview of how a day's appointments would pack together, so you can see the effect before committing to the change.
