Export your data from Gingr

Gingr gives you CSV exports in two different places, and knowing which is which saves a lot of hunting. List pages have an Export to CSV button. Reports have an Export to Excel? checkbox that you tick before you run them.

Export your owners and pets

1. Open the View All Owners page.
2. Look top right for Export to CSV and click it.

That gets you your owner records. Run the equivalent pet list the same way. These two files are the ones we most need, because they carry the breed, size, and vet details that took you years to collect.

Reservations and services work differently

Reports work differently:

1. Open the report you want: reservations by date, services by date, check-ins and check-outs.
2. In the report parameters at the top of the page, tick Export to Excel? before running it.
3. Run the report and save the file.

Set the date range to cover your whole history and everything booked ahead. Run it once looking backwards and once looking forwards if a single range won't stretch that far.

One report at a time

There's no single "export everything" button in Gingr. Work down the list yourself: owners, pets, reservations, services, new customers, exporting each one separately. It's tedious for twenty minutes and then it's done.

What you won't get

Saved card details. Your customers save a card again on their first payment through Seglo.

Send it to us

Email the files to support@seglo.ai from your Seglo account address, and leave them exactly as Gingr produced them. Send every report you managed to export rather than guessing which ones matter.

Do it while your Gingr subscription is still active.
