My profile
Get customers to pick you — set the photo, bio and services you offer, and clear the profile checklist that nags you on the dashboard.
Updated 19 July 2026
When a customer reaches the booking page and has to choose who they'll see, your photo, your bio and the services you offer are what they go on. This page is where you set all three — and where you clear the profile checklist that keeps reminding you on your dashboard until it's done.
Your Seglo sign-in is separate and lives under Account and login settings. This page is only how you appear and what you offer at this one business.

Get a photo and bio on your booking card
At the top of the page, click the round photo with the camera badge and choose an image — PNG, JPG, WebP and HEIC files all work. The picture appears straight away while it uploads; give the spinner a moment to finish before you move on.
Write a short Bio in the Details card — a sentence or two customers read when they pick you. It's optional and can run up to 1000 characters, but shorter reads better on a booking card.
One catch trips people up: uploading the photo does not save it. The image only sticks when you click Save changes. Upload, then save — or your new photo is gone on the next reload.

Fix the name customers see
In the Details card, Display name is the single field behind the name on your booking card and across your team's screens — set it to the form you actually want shown, like "Jess" rather than your full legal name. If your name looks wrong anywhere customers book, this is the field to change.
Add your Phone and Date of birth if you want them on record, then click Save changes. That one button stores your photo, bio and every detail in the Details and Address cards together, and the change takes effect right away.
Add your address details
In the Address card, fill in Street address, Suburb / City, Post code, State / Region and Country as needed. These are for your business's records rather than the booking page, and they're optional — they don't count toward your profile checklist.
The same Save changes button covers these — there's no separate address save.
Mark the services you actually do
The Skills card decides which services you can be matched to. A customer booking a service only sees staff who've ticked it, so this list directly controls how much work routes to you.
Click a category to expand it, then tick each service you offer. The count beside a category — 2/5 — shows how many you've ticked there, and the price beside each service is what the business charges for it. Use Select all to tick a whole category at once, or the ✕ to clear it; Select all greys out once everything's ticked, and ✕ greys out when nothing is.

Save your skills separately
The Skills card has its own Save skills button, apart from Save changes in the Details/Address cards. Change a tick and Save skills lights up; leave the selection as it was and it stays greyed out, so if the button looks dead it's because nothing has actually changed. If you edited both your details and your skills, do both saves.
Services with no category of their own are grouped under Other at the bottom of the list, so check there if a service you expected is missing. If the whole card says "No services available yet," your business hasn't built its service catalog — there's nothing to tick until it does.
Clear the profile checklist on your dashboard
Until your profile is filled, a Complete your profile banner sits at the top of your dashboard showing how far along you are — for example "2 of 4 items filled." The four items are your display name, phone, photo, and at least one skill — date of birth and address are optional and don't count. Fill them all and the banner disappears on its own.
You can dismiss the banner with the ✕ if you'd rather deal with it later — it stays hidden until your next sign-in, then returns if the profile still isn't complete. The "Complete now" button just jumps you to this page.
Tips
- Uploading a photo isn't saving it. The picture shows immediately, but it's only kept when you click Save changes. Reload before saving and it's lost.
- Two saves, not one. Save changes covers your photo, bio and details; Save skills is a separate button for the Skills card. Changed both? Click both.
- A greyed-out Save skills means nothing changed — the button only enables once your ticks differ from what's stored.
- Missing a service to tick? Check the Other group at the bottom — uncategorised services land there, not in any named category.
- Work at more than one business? Each has its own separate profile. Switch the active business in the top-left switcher to edit the right one.
- Login email or closing your account lives in Account and login settings, not here — those are account-level.
